A growth plan built on what your numbers actually show
Reporting that nobody acts on is trivia. Advice that isn't grounded in real numbers is just opinion. GetGarnish does both together: we track what your orders, channels, and guests are actually doing, then use that to tell you what to fix first.
The only question that matters
Order data sits in the POS. Delivery data sits in three marketplace dashboards. Website data sits in analytics. Campaign data sits with whoever sends the emails. Ad data sits in Google. Nobody can answer a simple question like whether last month's spend produced more orders than the month before, let alone what to do about it. Impressions, rankings, and open rates do not pay invoices. When everything runs through one platform, the question of whether the marketing produced orders has an answer, and that answer is where a real plan starts. The GetGarnish platform
What we track and report
Orders by channel
How much comes through your own site and app versus delivery marketplaces. If the direct share is not rising, the strategy is not working, regardless of what the traffic numbers say.
New versus returning guests
A healthy restaurant grows both. Growth entirely from new guests means retention is leaking. Growth entirely from returning guests means acquisition has stalled.
Repeat rate and time between orders
The clearest measure of whether loyalty and messaging are doing anything. Time between orders shrinking is usually the first sign that retention work is landing.
Marketing spend against orders
The number that settles arguments about whether a channel is worth the money. Everything else on this list is diagnostic; this is the one that decides what gets more budget and what gets cut.
Turning the numbers into a plan
Reporting tells you what happened. A plan tells you what to do next. Every engagement includes both, built from the same data.
Digital audit
Website, search visibility, Google Business Profile, listings, reviews, ordering setup, and current marketing activity, reviewed and documented.
Competitive review
Which restaurants are winning the searches you should be winning inside your radius, and what specifically they are doing that you are not.
Channel economics
What each order channel actually costs once commission, fees, and marketing spend are counted, and what the mix would look like if direct ordering grew.
Written plan and sequence
A document with prioritized recommendations, the reasoning behind each one, and a realistic order of operations. It is yours whether or not you work with us afterward.
What we consult on, and what we do not
We consult on the digital side of a restaurant business: where orders come from, what each channel actually costs, how visible you are in your market, how your site and ordering flow convert, and what should be fixed in what order. We do not consult on kitchen operations, concept development, menu costing, real estate, or hiring. Those are real disciplines with real specialists, and we are not them. If that is what you need, we will say so. If you already know what is broken and want it fixed rather than diagnosed, skip this and go straight to the relevant service: restaurant SEO, restaurant website design, or online ordering.
How the relationship works
A monthly report written in plain language, not a dashboard export with a logo on it. Each report says what changed, why we think it changed, and what it means for the plan. You also have live access to the dashboard whenever you want to look. If something underperformed, the report says so; a report that only contains good news is not a report. Groups get per-location reporting and a rolled-up view, so you can see which locations are performing and which need attention without exporting five separate reports. Multi-location restaurants
This is the right starting point when you have several problems and no clear priority, when you are considering a rebuild, a new ordering system, or a group expansion and want a plan first, when you have been running marketing for a while without knowing whether it works, or when you are about to sign a long agreement with a vendor and want an independent read first.
What changes for your restaurant
- One view of orders, channels, guests, and spend, reported in plain language every month
- Priorities set by what the data shows, not by whoever called last
- A clear read on whether direct ordering is growing against marketplaces
- Channel costs and repeat rate tracked over time instead of guessed at
- A written plan you own, whether or not you hire us to execute it
- Per-location and group-level reporting for multi-unit brands
- An independent read before signing a long vendor agreement
Before you book a call
It depends on the specialty. Restaurant consultants cover a wide range: concept development, kitchen operations, menu engineering, financial structure, and marketing. GetGarnish consults specifically on digital growth: where your orders come from, what your channels cost, how visible you are locally, what the reporting shows, and what to fix first.
