Garnish Partners Privacy Policy

Garnish Partners (Android package com.getgarnish.partners) is a tablet app used by restaurant owners and trusted staff to sign in and manage orders for their location on the Garnish platform. This policy covers the app only, not the getgarnish.com website (see our website privacy policy).

Information we collect

The app collects the minimum information needed to authenticate you and deliver order alerts:

• Your phone number, used to sign in via a one-time SMS code or an optional password.
• A device identifier and a push notification token, used to deliver new-order alerts to your device.
• Authentication tokens, stored securely on your device to keep you signed in.

We do not collect your name, email address, or location, and the app does not access your camera, photos, or contacts.

How we use it

We use this information solely to verify your identity, keep you signed in, and notify your device of new orders for the restaurant location you are registered to. Your password, if set, is stored as a one-way hash we cannot reverse.

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the app: Twilio (to deliver SMS sign-in codes), Firebase Cloud Messaging (to deliver push notifications), and Supabase (our database host). The app also loads your restaurant's own order-management site inside the app; that site's data practices are covered by its own terms, not this policy.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and device information for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.
